That Which Lies Within the Tombs

After Lara’s Croft’s experience with the unknown supernatural in Yamatai, she is left with more questions than answers. Based on her father’s research the lost city of Kitezh is where the answer she seeks for lie. This same venture also led to her father’s unhealthy obsession of which ended in suicide.

Despite warnings, Lara Croft is set on finding the lost city of Kitezh. It will not be an easy journey for what lies in her path includes savage wildlife animals, treacherous terrains, and the Trinity organization looking to find the lost city and its secrets first. Despite the odds, the secrets that lies there and the answers she’s looking for is what drives Lara Croft to make this venture.

On October 11th, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix is set to release Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration. Rise of the Tomb Raider is a third-person action adventure game where you’ll play as Lara Croft. It takes place on the snowy mountain sides of Siberia one year after the previous Tomb Raider game.

Now, I’m well aware that the Rise of the Tomb Raider has already been released for Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC late last year/early this year. What Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 year Celebration will be is its first release on the Playstation 4. What are included with this version of the game is all available DLC expansions such as Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch, Cold Darkness Awakened, and Blood Ties. Also Lara’s Nightmare and Co-Op Endurance modes, as well as various outfits and weapons.

If you’re a Playstation 4 owner this is your chance to finally play Rise of the Tomb Raider. Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 year Celebration will be released on October 11th for Playstation 4. In the meantime, feel free to check out the trailer below.
